By Newsbreak Senior Producer Taresh Harreeparshad - Health Minister Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi is concerned about allegations that have emerged following the death of medical intern at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital in Umlazi, south of Durban. 25-year old doctor Alulutho Mazwi died last Monday after allegedly being forced by his supervisor to work even though he was ill. It is reported that he fainted twice while on duty. Health care workers' unions - Public Servants Association and the South African Medical Association (SAMA) are calling on the department of health to thoroughly investigate allegations of abuse of medical interns in health facilities.
