The Gauteng government says it will help the families of the victims of the Vanderbijlpark scholar transport crash with funeral arrangements. This emerged during a media briefing led by Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, Basic Education minister Siviwe Gwarube and other dignitaries in Sebokeng in the Vaal. Twelve learners were killed when a scholar transport minibus they were travelling in along the Golden highway near Vanderbijlpark collided with a heavy-duty truck on Monday.
