By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - Mount Edgecombe's Shree Emperumal Hindu Temple Society is hosting a Women's Day celebration this weekend, as part of its 150th Anniversary Celebrations. Titled "Honouring Our Women" - the event will feature a keynote address on the resilience of indentured women, discussions on gender-based violence and motivational speeches. The programme also includes the unveiling of a new bell tower, cultural performances and a traditional vegetarian supper for attendees.
