By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - Scores of people are still displaced as mop-up operations continue in the wake of a devastating storm that wreaked havoc across several areas in the Western Cape last week. Humanitarian aid organisation, the Gift of the Givers says they have assisted around 30-thousand residents, mostly from informal settlements across the province. While some of the displaced elderly residents have been provided with temporary shelter, thousands of others will have to salvage what they can from their homes which have been flooded and damaged. The South African Weather Service (SAWS) also says that another cold front is expected, with a chance of more rain. Project manager at the Gift of the Givers, Ali Sablay explains the situation on the ground....
