The South African Social Security Agency, or SASSA, has intensified its efforts to ensure the integrity of the social grant system. They are now actively scrutinizing beneficiaries' bank accounts, aiming to identify those who may be receiving additional income that has not been declared. This comes after SASSA flagged around 210,000 beneficiaries suspected of non-compliance.
