This past Sunday, the "Greatest Shoal on Earth" concluded Scottburgh's Ocean Festival, giving spectators a front-row seat to the massive sardine migration on Scottburgh Main Beach. This iconic event, a true natural wonder, perfectly aligned with World Ocean Day, underscoring the vital importance of ocean awareness and conservation. Event Organiser, Barry Lewin, highlighted how fitting it was to witness the sardine run's arrival, showcasing exactly what they're fighting to protect in the ocean.
