by Newsbreak Senior Producer, Taresh Harreeparshad - The Nelson Mandela Community Youth Centre's Coronavirus Action Committee (COVAC) has urged residents of Chatsworth, south of Durban, to wear face masks during the busy festive period. This follows concerns raised of a possible upsurge in COVID-19 cases in the area. While the data is still being assessed - the organization says it is better for residents to take precautions to keep themselves safe as more and more people come into contact during the busy festive season.
