By Newsbreak Producer Shanell Daniel - Residents in parts of Shallcross, Savannah Park, Queensburgh and Chatsworth in the south of Durban say they feel abandoned by the eThekwini Municipality after being without water since Christmas. According to Marcus Richards, a member of the Communications Directorate for the South-Western Civics Alliance, the areas have faced ongoing water challenges since the 2022 floods. He says residents are calling for the municipality to restore constant water supply as pensioners are amongst those who are currently facing the brunt of the water issues. Richards explains...
