The trial in its early stages has shown 20% of participants remain off anti-retroviral therapy (ART) and are virally suppressed after one-and-a-half years. Led by academic medical leaders, it tested an innovative combination immunotherapy approach aimed at reducing or eliminating hidden traces of HIV in the body.
