By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - Parliament's Justice and Constitutional Development committee are currently deliberating on the necessary approach and process to address the allegations made by the KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. Among others, Mkhwanazi alleged that the, now removed, Police Minister Senzo Mchunu is affiliated to persons linked to criminal activities and that top police officials are involved in criminal activities. The Speaker of the National Assembly, Thoko Didiza, instructed these two portfolio committee, as well as the Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence to consider, on an urgent basis the allegations.
