Allegedly, the driver of taxi that crashed into a day care centre in Pietermaritzburg, killing 5 school children, jumped out of the moving vehicle as it left the road. Nine other learners were injured in the crash which demolished part of the pre-school. The learners were all passengers in the taxi - used for scholar transport in Imbali unit 18.
