Over 1000 ladies who matriculated from Girls High in Durban from the 1950's to 1999 converged at Sastri College for a Mega School Reunion. The school was first known as Durban Indian Girls High School and then changed to Durban Girls Secondary School, as it is known today. Matriculants also jetted in from overseas to attend this mammoth celebration. The school has, over the years, produced luminaries who have gone on to become great assets to society and captains of industry. Ela Gandhi of the Gandhi Development Trust, also matriculated at Girls High. These matriculants - who rekindled old friendships - say they were thrilled to meet classmates and teachers again...
