by Newsbreak Producer, Hoosen Ebrahim - The National Lotteries Commission, which provides funding to help make a positive impact in communities, is looking for more non-profit organisations and companies to apply for funding in its Call for Applications for 2024/2025. Applications now close on the 16th of May, giving prospective applicants more than a month extra to complete their submissions. The extension was granted due to several factors including a significant increase in civil society organisations visiting its offices nationwide and backlogs in updating applicants' information on the department of social development (DSD) portal.
