The organisation says technology-driven solutions, including real-time trip monitoring, enhanced emergency alert systems and improved ride-tracking features - could help better protect women while traveling. Recently, Minister for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Sindisiwe Chikunga urged young women and girls to remain vigilant and prioritize their safety when using e-hailing services. Umhlanga Women's Association Founder and Chairperson Praneetha Aniruth say these improved monitoring tools could provide greater peace of mind for passengers and help authorities respond quicker in emergencies...
