A mother and daughter are among nine South Africans who have returned home after narrowly escaping devastating floods in Nepal. Sulosh Pillay and her daughter, Dr Keshnie Pillay, arrived at King Shaka International Airport yesterday, after seven members of their group landed in Johannesburg on Tuesday night. The group had travelled to Nepal on a spiritual pilgrimage to Mount Kailash. They had crossed the affected border area just two days before the floods struck.
