By Newsbreak Executive Producer Salma Patel - A new civil society organisation has been formed to preserve the historic legacy of the Natal Indian Congress - or NIC - which was founded by the father of modern-day liberation - Mahatma Gandhi. The Natal Indian Congress Legacy Foundation - or NICLEF - has been formalized after the successful NIC 130th Anniversary programme held in 2024, which revived public interest in the historic role of the NIC.
