By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - Non-Profit organisation, the National Shelter Movement of South Africa (NSMSA) has started a crowd funding campaign to keep its National Gender Based Violence (GBV) Helpline running. The Movement supports over 100 shelters across the country for women and children trapped in abusive homes. It says the shortfall in funding is being compounded as the scourge of GBV persists - with running costs such as trauma support, equipment and legal assistance among other things. KZN representative of the Movement, Nadia Moonsamy says hundreds of women and children will be left vulnerable should they not be able to keep the helpline running...
