This as Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana prepares to make his third attempt at tabling the National Budget this afternoon in Cape Town following a standoff over a VAT hike which National Treasury has since withdrawn. A lower economic growth projection below the National Treasury's previous 1,9-percent forecast for this year is also anticipated. A reputation expert says the delays and clashes over the national budget does not paint a good fiscal outlook for international investors.
