This has raised fresh concerns about South Africa's role in international trafficking routes. In the latest incident, a Dutch national was intercepted en route to London with 60kg of drugs concealed in his luggage. This incident occurred less than 24 hours after a Brazilian national was arrested at the same airport with cocaine valued at 8.7 million rand. Chairperson of the Gauteng Portfolio Committee on Community Safety, Bandile Masuku, says the arrests point to intensified policing efforts but also expose persistent vulnerabilities at one of Africa's busiest travel hubs....
