By Newsbreak Producer Shanell Daniel - An E-hailing driver who was allegedly kidnapped, assaulted and extorted in Phoenix, north of Durban, has been left injured and traumatised by the experience. That's according to the Secretary General of KZN E-hailing Council, Sithembiso Khanyezi. It is alleged that the driver was attacked after transporting a passenger to the Phoenix Plaza, north of Durban, by three men believed to be a part of the local taxi association.
