By Newsbreak Producer Taliesha Naidoo - The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) in Phoenix is calling for the immediate resignation of eThekwini Municipality City Manager, Musa Mbhele and the head of Water Services, Ednick Msweli. IFP councillor, Dr. Jonathan Annipen is accusing Mbhele, Mswele and other top City officials of neglecting to provide essential water service delivery to residents of Phoenix and other surrounding areas north of Durban. Dr. Annipen says residents and businesses of Ward 48 in Phoenix have been left without water for almost two weeks. He says despite their countless calls for immediate and meaningful interventions, their cries have fallen on deaf ears...
