By Tracy Valaydham - Scores of residents, groups and some political parties are embarking on a march in support of KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. The march started at Curries Fountain in the Durban CDB and will head toward Hoy Park in Durban north. Police are closely monitoring the marchers, who are believed to be in their hundreds. Organisers of the march - which they have called - #HandsOffMkhwanazi - say they reject President Cyril Ramaphosa's establishment of the judicial commission of inquiry to probe corruption allegations in the police. Mkhwanazi implicated senior police officials including Minister Senzo Mchunu in corruption and having links to criminal syndicates.
