Residents of Bhambayi in the south of Durban are angry and fearful after three community patrollers died in a confrontation with suspected members of the notorious West Gang. It's alleged the three suspects opened fire when a community patrol - armed with sjamboks - tried to stop and search them. One of the suspects was also shot dead in the incident. It comes after five people allegedly belonging to the same gang, were hacked to death in the area at the beginning of last year. Dries Liebenberg reports...
