According to the Food (In)Security Report by the Socio-Economic Rights Institute (SERI) in 2024, one in seven children go hungry every week - while stunting affects 30% of boys and 25% of girls under five, locking them into cycles of compromised cognitive development. SA Harvest is on a path to try and change this through building a logistics chain, activating community networks in an effort to create sustainability.
