By Newsbreak Producer Shanell Daniel - The National Professional Teachers' Organisation of South Africa (NAPTOSA) together with eThekwini Waste Collection are calling on primary schools in the Durban North/Berea and Newlands area to become climate justice champions. The 'Be a Climate Justice Champion' campaign aims to create a culture of recycling and climate justice action amongst young people. Primary schools in the selected areas can apply by submitting a 2-minute video explaining why their school should be amongst the 20 schools that will be selected for the commitment.
