By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - Scores of environmental activists will today stage a protest in the form of an art demonstration outside the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) where the final G20 Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group is being held. Various stakeholders from South Africa and across the globe will today conclude discussions around the adoption of the G20 Ministerial Declaration at the meeting. This is ahead of the G20 Summit taking place in Johannesburg this November. Community Outreach Co-ordinator at environmental justice organisation, the Green Connection, Neville van Rooy says the protests will indicate the struggles faced by local communities, a just transition and the fight against oil and gas exploration...
