Monday, the 8th of September, marks International Literacy Day, which will be commemorated under the theme, "Many Literacies for a Connected World". Durban-based non-governmental organisation - Environment & Language Education Trust (ELET) will be hosting an event highlighting the growing importance of Information Literacy, Digital Literacy, AI Literacy, and Reading Literacy in shaping informed and empowered citizens.
