By Newsbreak Producer, Tracy Valaydham - An early morning fire at a house in Shallcross south of Durban has left an elderly couple dead and six people injured. It is believed that paramedics were alerted to the fire by various calls that were made to them by residents in the area. Advanced Life Support (ALS) Spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says the six injured occupants, who managed to escape the fire, had minor injuries and was treated on scene. Jamieson says after the blaze was extinguished, they entered the premises and discovered a couple believed to be in their late sixties that had suffered smoke inhalation and was declared deceased. Jamieson says the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.....
