By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - Preliminary investigations have revealed that the minibus involved in the crash that claimed 17 lives on the N3 at Van Reenens Pass, lost control swerving into the oncoming truck. This was revealed by the Department of Transport in KwaZulu-Natal, who says they have identified the driver of the truck as a 37-year old Zimbabwean National. The Department says while they are yet to locate him, they are in the process of verifying his documentation with his employer. A young girl, believed to be under the age of three is the sole survivor and currently recovering in hospital. Spokesperson for the Department, Ndabezinhle Sibiya says an investigation into the cause of the minibus losing control is underway...
