By Newsbreak Producer Taliesha Naidoo - A KwaZulu-Natal couple accused of brutally murdering a father in front of his six-year-old daughter have been remanded in custody for seven days. The couple appeared at the KwaDukuza Magistrates Court yesterday. They were arrested on Monday after allegedly stabbing 33-year-old William Mputhi to death on the driveway of his home in Shakaskraal, north of Durban. The couple then fled the scene with their three-year-old child. Following an extensive search, the couple were arrested by members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) on Monday afternoon in Richards Bay. RUSA spokesperson, Prem Balram, says the vicious murder has left the community in shock. Balram says the couple will next appear in court on 10th September...
