By Newsbreak Executive Producer Salma Patel - Comrades Runner, Moira Harding is recovering in ICU at a Durban hospital. On Sunday night a search for the runner was initiated when she mysteriously vanished after crossing the finish line just before 5 0 clock in the evening. A severely critical Harding was found in the Point Area close to the National Sea Rescue Institute with severe hypothermia. Harding was stabilized on scene before being airlifted to a Durban Hospital. According to Harding's husband, she is still unresponsive and on a ventilator. Organiser of the Comrades Marathon Medical Facility, Dr Jeremy Boulter says the grueling 89km marathon is very taxing on the body and that many runners were treated at the medical tent at the finish line...
