By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - Bellarmine Mugabe the son of former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, and his co-accused, Tobias Matonhdze have abandoned their bail application. The two are accused of shooting a 23-year-old gardener at the Mugabe residency in Hyde Park, Johannesburg in February. The case has been transferred to the regional court for plea negotiation. The pair appeared at the Alexandra Magistrate Court this morning, on charges of attempted murder, defeating the ends of justice, possession of a firearm and contravening the Immigration Act.
