By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation is concerned that chaos could ensue should Government not decisively deal with illegal-immigration in the country. This comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a five point plan to deal with the issue. The plan, includes cracking down on immigration law violators, strengthening border security, stamping out corruption within the immigration system, closing loopholes in immigration law and working with other African countries to tackle the problem. However, civic movement March and March say it will continue to enforce the Criminal Procedure Act, which allows citizens to arrest individuals for certain offenses without a warrant.
