Protests have been ongoing over the last week and are expected to continue until the City of Joburg comes up with a concrete plan to address the issue. In his SONA last night, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the establishment of a National Water Crisis Committee, which he will chair in an effort to solve water issues across the country.
