ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa has called on party members and volunteers to ensure a higher voter turnout for the organisation during Wednesday's local polls.  In his address at the party's Siyanqoba Rally in the Eastern Cape on Sunday, Ramaphosa says successive elections have shown that ANC voters normally stay away, assuming the party has already won.  Special voting starts today and tomorrow with the big day on Wednesday for the local government elections. Meanwhile, according to DA Leader Geordin Hill-Lewis, the party is leading in major metros. He describes the contest as a two-horse race between the DA and the ANC. Hill-Lewis addressed supporters in Mamelodi, Tshwane on Saturday, in its final rally ahead of the 4 November local government elections. He also rejected claims that the DA serves only one racial group as lies.
