By Newsbreak Producer, Taliesha Naidoo - Every August, we mark Women's Month - an opportunity to honour and celebrate women's resilience and achievements. Yet amid the celebrations, lies the haunting fact that thousands of women and girls are still missing. Many of them have been abducted, trafficked, victims of violence or have simply disappeared without a trace - like in the case of 28-year-old Keshira Maharaj. Keshira was last seen in December 2024, allegedly boarding an Uber, in Phoenix, north of Durban. Since then, there have been no verified sightings of her. Dawn Gounden from the Search and Rescue Organisation - Renegades - has been assisting Maharaj's family in their search for her. Gounden says the distraught family are left in constant agony as months pass with no new information.....
