On the 17th of July 1950, the first SABC News Bulletin aired- raising the volume for decades of news excellence to come. Today SABC News has transcended all platforms with bulletins across all 18 radio stations and five television channels- including a 24-hour news service on DSTV. SABC News also stands at the forefront of innovation with over 3million subscribers on YouTube and even an online streaming service called SABC+. To kick-off SABC News' 75th Celebrations icons of broadcast Sureshnie Rieder and Mahendra Raghunath joined us to share their memories and lessons from the public broadcaster. Socially Acceptable CEO Nazareen Ebrahim also helped us understand what the future holds for SABC News in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
