Now in its 17th year, the Lord Mayor's Prayer Breakfast brings churches and the wider Christian community in Brisbane together for a unique interdenominational gathering, to connect and pray for the betterment of our city.

The theme of this year's Prayer Breakfast was Housing and Homelessness, issues that have worsened with the cost of living crisis.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner addressed those gathered in Brisbane City Hall to thank those working in this space, and to encourage the Christian community to continue providing hope to those less fortunate. 

Ruth Limkin was the master of ceremonies.
