A confrontation between federal immigration agents and protesters in Frederick escalated Friday night after protesters physically blocked agents from entering a Stoneybrook Court residence.

Montgomery County police have arrested a District Heights man in connection with a carjacking in Silver Spring more than four years ago. 23-year-old Daymonte Antonyio Jones is charged in the July 5, 2022, carjacking in the 8700 block of Georgia Avenue.
