Podcast Description: What time is it in your spiritual walk? In this powerful message from Living Strong (sponsored by Sun City West Christian Church), we explore the three dimensions of time—the past, present, and future—and how Christians can navigate each with wisdom, hope, and purpose. Drawing from Paul’s letters to the Ephesians and Romans, this episode dives into learning from Biblical history without getting trapped by past mistakes, overcoming the costly dangers of procrastination and delayed obedience, and stepping confidently into God’s plans for today and tomorrow.

Key Takeaways

Learn from the Past Without Living There: The past is designed by God to instruct us, not imprison us. Remembering His past faithfulness, miracles, and loving discipline helps transform past trials and failures into present purpose.

The High Cost of Procrastination: Delayed obedience often leads to prolonged suffering. Through the warnings of Pharaoh choosing "one more night with the frogs," Governor Felix putting off conviction, and King Agrippa remaining "almost persuaded," we learn that the safest place to be is in immediate obedience today.

Faith Lives in the Present: While the past teaches and the future motivates, faith only operates right now. Every major Biblical figure—from Noah to Mary—responded to God’s calling in the present moment.

Today's Decisions Shape Tomorrow's Reality: The future belongs to God, but what we sow spiritually today determines the harvest we reap tomorrow.

SCW CHRISTIAN CHURCH (SCWCC) was established December 12, 1991, under the leadership of First Christian Church of Sun City. The present church sanctuary was built in February 1997, and underwent an expansion in 2011.
SCWCC has always been a spiritual storehouse in the West Valley of the Phoenix area, where the Bible is taught as God’s inspired and ever-relevant Word to man. It is a non-denominational fellowship of Christians from different religious backgrounds who have found a common acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord.
