Courage can be defined as the quality of mind or spirit that enables individuals to face difficulty, danger or pain without succumbing to fear. For patients, facing death and the process of dying can be profoundly daunting. For caregivers, it can be overwhelming to face the prospect of losing their loved one and manage the demands of both daily life and their caregiving duties.

Today, we hear from 3 guests who've experienced courage as patients and as caregivers.

Interviews:
Mdm Shirley Ma, Palliative Care Patient (starts 1m41s)
Petrina Kow, Vocal Coach (starts 7m21s)
Dr Lim Lee Yen, Consultant, Supportive Care & Palliative Medicine, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (starts 18m04s)

Special thanks to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital
