Then new Bendigo artist Neb Bennu joined the team live in the studio with his debut single. Waigo joined the team and they welcomed to the studio The Refuge from Apollo Bay/Melbourne. The Refuge had a chat then brought to life live in the studio their one and only track that can be played "acoustically". The resulting performance gave the matrix a bit of a nudge with some audio and visual distortion that had never previously been experienced on the show.

Live Music Bendigo 11 July 2026

With a total of 18 guests across the two hours and the biggest band to feature live in our LMB studio it was certainly one of our biggest LMB shows. Seven members of The F Jays played three tracks live in the studio to kick of a day of celebrations for the release of their debut album, Juicer. Then the team were joined by three of the finalists from the Yo Bendigo Battle of the Bands which is coming up in two weeks. Firstly, all three members of Bendigo's Potassium, then all four members of Bendigo's Setonix joined the team live in the studio. Then the four members of Ballarat's Velora joined the team on the phone from their hometown, Ballarat. The team also featured new releases for local artists, Jess Parker, Valley Road, Two Steps Forward and the debut for Ash Perseus.

Ezz Eddy and Angus were joined in the studio by Kyabram based trio Pulse8 with drummer Cam returning to Bendigo with his band for their gig supporting the Bridesmaid's EP launch. The EP was recorded in Cam's Kyabram studio. Then the team were joined by Melbourne's Morningbirds with their new single and some instruments for a couple of tracks live in the studio before they headed to Let's Chat Park for their Succubus gig. New local music from Pastel Atlas, Bad Debts and the Bridesmaid.

Angus and Brett were joined in the studio by Byron and Frasier from one of Bendigo's newest acts, Aisle 27. The 5 piece have been playing gigs around town and are primed for next week's support slot at the Golden Vine for the Bridesmaid's EP launch. The team were then joined by James Laurence in the lead up to his 4th single "Reel World" which is set for release 22nd August. The team also featured new local releases for Jay Howie, the Bridesmaid, Relays and Todd Prez and artists playing locally.
