Bendigo songbird Sherri Parry is no stranger to music fans in Bendigo with her sweet melodic voice and beautiful songs. Sherri and musical partner Tom Hadlow came into the studio to talk about her much anticipated sophomore album, Mosquito which is being released in September. Hailing from Heathcote, Mariah McCarthy has been writing music since her teens and has seemingly been a part of the Bendigo music scene forever, playing solo and also in trio mode with Ben Langdon and Cassie Ward. Her music features delicately woven songs rich in storytelling, and she captivates her audiences through honest and affecting tales that hang around in your head long after listening. We've been keen to have Mariah on the show and it was great to have her come in for a chat and to play a couple of her songs for us.

Born out of a love of rock, punk and metal, Forklift Assassins are a Melbourne-based Punk four-piece who love to throw down some massive riffs. Playing fast and loud tunes, these guys know what it means to rock out, and they came by the studio ahead of an afternoon gig at Handle Bar in the middle of a chilly Bendigo winter.
