On this episode of the podcast I chat to Professor Henry Brodaty, the co-director of the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. CHeBA's mission is to enhance the evidence base in relation to the prevention, early detection and treatment of age related disorders in particular brain diseases, and to improve the health care of individuals affected by brain diseases such as dementia.
In this chat Professor Brodaty goes deep. It’s an extremely intellectual conversation but he explains exactly what dementia is, how it forms and what steps we can take to avoid developing it and to slow our own cognitive decline. Sit back and enjoy this literal brain food, courtesy of the University of New South Wales and CHeBA.
