This week, I speak about the First Noble Truth from the Buddhist tradition, the idea of pain and suffering in our lives. Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing more on some Buddhist philosophies that can be applied to the modern day person. Having just finished a two-year mindfulness meditation training course that was premised around the Buddhist philosophy, I find that many of the Buddha's teachings are invaluable. And while they are difficult to embody fully without practice, a brief awareness of its philosophies can help you live a life that is filled with more harmony, peace, and understanding. It ain't an easy journey, but the Buddha's Way is a path I will continue to follow and refine in my own life, and I hope you find value in it too!
