This week, I thought I'd share with you a bit on my journey to Colombia, where I spent two weeks over the New Year on retreat in a small rural jungle town near the city of Pereira. I was on a spiritual retreat and I thought I'd share with you a little on my healing journey where I was introduced and supported by indigenous ways of healing.

I was reminded on the importance of turning to Nature for council, to honour those moments of silence in her presence to inquire about questions you may have in life. While the answers may not be obvious at first, taking the time to rest in Nature sure does provide more clarity and direction. 

Colombia, I love you. And I thank you for the diamond you left in my heart. For helping me reset my mind and body and to really love myself again. I will keep your spirit with me alive and well as we embark on a brand new year.
