The Life’s A Beach Podcast is presented by Head Lifeguard and TV personality, Bruce ‘Hoppo’ Hopkins. Known to his fans as the fun-loving, down to earth Lifeguard from Bondi Rescue, Hoppo has spent nearly 30 years working on Australia’ most infamous beach and will open up to fans like never before. Portraying another side to the lovable larrikin, Hoppo and guests will discuss life stories - the good, the bad and everything in between in an open and candid forum. Each week they will share their own challenges and struggles and in true Hoppo style there will be some light-hearted jokes and banter along the way. Doron talks candidly about his history of mental health issues over the course of his life and how he has learned to seek help and assistance both from professionals as well as friends and family.

Hoppo is joined in the beach shack by Makua Rothman. Makua talks about his time growing up in Hawaii, his journey to becoming a competitive big wave surfer and his music career. 

He also discusses the challenges he's faced along the way and how has used these experiences to grow as a person. Makua has a new song out called Catch A Wave and is currently on tour with his band.

Kiki is a photographer who lives in the Kosciuszko region and has been taking extraordinary photos of brumbies in the wild for nearly a decade. As such, Kiki is very much against the government's wild brumby culling program. She joins Hoppo to try and raise awareness of the reality of the salutation from the perspective of someone on the ground.
