I've been seeing a guy for a few months and he's told me that I wear the same perfume as his ex girlfriend. They were together for 6 years. He very politely said that he would be happy to get me a new perfume that I like as a present, as my perfume reminds him of his ex. I can't decide if I'm a bit offended by this or if it's reasonable.
