THE LETTER Guest REITUMETSE MTHEMBU & MBULELO MAYIKANA
Dear Mapaseka
I am a 23 year old guy. My baby mama gave birth in September and she did not call or text me to let me know she gave birth. I asked her to send me the pictures of the baby and even now she has not shared them. She's very demanding when she wants something, she is aware that I am not working and have to ask my mother for support.
I am fed up with this lady and her attitude is something else ; she doesn't respect me at all. I called her last week and she said ke batlang. We spoke for about a minute then I hung up the call. I called her again after 3 days just to check up on the baby and her, as we were talking I could hear her sister calling me names. Not so long ago she told me that I don't have a child and that she doesn't
mind to raise the baby without my help she said all of that after I told her hore things won't happen ka nako a batlang ka yona. There is a lot going on in my life. There is too much anger at home we hardly talk/sit as a family because once we chill together someone will start a fight. I am emotionally overwhelemd and tired . Im experiencing short term memory loss because of what is happening in my life at home, as well as ke baby mama drama. I'm even scared to chill/ talk with family because I might hear words I'm not supposed to hear. They can't see hore this negativity is affecting me alot. I got accepted to study in Cape Town; we can't celebrate that as family because of the tension
that is happening.
