Dear Mapaseka
I stay with my 11 year old son, just the 2 of us. Recently
his friend who lives in our street started visiting our home
more regularly. It went from weekend sleepovers to now
being in our home for about 20 days. When the street is
his by electricity cut offs due to a faulty electrical
transformer his parents send him to our house.
He sleeps, eats, and bathes in our home without any
contribution from his parents. Recently the boy came
from his house with 1 packet of noodles and did not
share it with my son. Now I'm wondering how to deal with
this situation as my son is starting to not share with his
friend as well. What is the conversation I need to have
with the boy’s parents?
